As some of you may know, we discussed in very minor detail today, a rather strange story set in Lithuania. The story was about a city mayor who stood up against the atrocity of illegally parked cars by barrelling over a very expensive one (Mercedes) in a 6 wheeled armored battle-worthy tank. 

Anyway, while we're on the topic of Europian countries that no one actually cares about, Croatia still exists! And to be honest, it may have just been taken off my who-cares-list and perhaps even added to my countries-to-visit list. And yes, I have physical lists written out for both of those criteria. My perception of Croatia (based on absolutely nothing) was a war torn country still smoldering in the rubble of Slobadan Malosovic, the break up of Yugoslavia, and perhaps even still recovering from WWII? The images that come to mind are empty and broken down Soviet-like apartment blocks, landscapes of grey and consistantly cloudy skies. Overall very reminiscent of a post-disaster Chernobyl.

Regardless, I discovered these photos online, and my perceptions were almost immediately reversed. Our show is a sports show and I reallize this is more random and not sports related.
